Install a heating system

Ask a means to install air conditioning on each side of a wall overlooking the outdoor unit and indoor and outdoor. They are connected by a flexible connection through the wall that provides air exchange. A facility not very complicated to install.

Heating: constraints

The installation of a split air conditioning fixed must satisfy certain constraints. It must:
- Be placed so that the distribution and return air can not be hampered;
- Being attached to a solid wall; 
- Be determined by the distances specified on the record between indoor and outdoor unit;
- Be accessible for maintenance;
- For a split stationary wall having its indoor unit placed at a minimum height of 2 m.

Heating: the location

The outdoor unit heating reversible should be placed:
- Open air, away from drafts and the prevailing winds;
- Away from bedrooms and the neighborhood (noise);
- A place for evacuation of condensate; 
- Below the indoor unit;
- At a distance (length and height) inside the module. The hose connection is often 4 m

It must also be protected from the sun. Once the specific location, check with your detector materials, the wall has neither son nor supply pipes.

Heating: fasteners and drilling

Inside the housing, install the support brackets according to the timeline provided by the manufacturer. Use pegs to suit your wall. Make sure the air conditioner reversible is level. Made, then a hole in your wall for the connecting tube. Drill, drill or your drill depending on your wall and saw your bits, gently sloping outwards and downwards.Stop just before you reach the other side and make a small hole in the center to have a marker. Finish the drill from the outside.

Heating: installation

Get help to secure the module inside the heating reversible. Then go outside. Ask your help, remained inside, you get the drain tube and the cable from the outdoor unit.Attach the drain on the outside wall. Be sure to attach securely, according to the manufacturer's instructions, the module outside of your air conditioning.

Connect the coolant tubes and son feeding the air conditioning assembly as indicated.Connect the heater to your electrical panel reversible, protected by a circuit breaker suitable for the amperage of the device. Try putting your heating reversible power. If everything works properly, have the finishes. Seal the opening in the wall, use the chutes to hide the cable and pipes outside.

How to Maintain an electric water heater

Maintenance of the electric water heater is the easiest (inspection of the safety valve) to more complicated (the anode or replacing the thermostat). Follow these tips to prolong the life of your hot water heater.

Check the safety valve on your hot water

Inspect the relief valve on your hot water heater annually to ensure it works well. Open it to check that the water flowing normally, without obstruction. Warning! The water that comes out with a lot of pressure is hot. Provide a basin for collecting. Lift the lever and let it close with a snap. The water must stop running immediately. If the valve does not work properly, you must replace it.

Emptying of a simple instantaneous water heater

To rid your electric water heater of impurities in the tank must be drained regularly. Start by cutting the power and the general water supply. Then, close the inlet valve of cold water. Connect a hose to the drain valve and place the other end into a sink. Open the drain valve of the water heater and a hot water faucet near the water heater. Draining is complete, do the reverse. To fill the tank, close the valve and the valve near the kettle.Open a faucet away from the water heater and open the inlet valve of cold water.

Emptying and cleaning of a water heater
