Install a dimmer switch

Nothing is easier than installing a dimmer switch. Once the installation is completed, the connections are very simple. With halogen bulbs so you can vary the light from 60 to 500 W and meet all lighting needs.

Before installing a switch

Disconnect power by turning the power switch "off" before working on the grid. Always check that there is no current phase with a tester before connecting a dimmer switch.

Installation of switch

To install a dimmer switch projecting, remove the case cover and locate the drill holes on the wall. Drill and ankles. To install a dimmer switch built in, make a hole the size of the base of the switch in the wall. Seal it.

Setup switch: connecting

Remove the son of the walls and make the following connection:
- Connect the phase (red wire) from the overall picture on the dimmer switch;
- Connect the neutral wire (blue) and earth (green and yellow wire) from the overall picture on the ceiling;
- Connect the ceiling with dimmer switch (brown wire).

Install a switch: finishes

Screw the base of the dimmer switch projecting wall, then over the top and finally clip on the cover. For a dimmer switch recessed screw the top on the base built, then clip the top part above.
