The installation of an earth

Any device connected to land is a guarantee of peace in a dwelling. In the event of insulation failure, the current is attracted to the earth. Install an earth is required. This transaction is subject to strict rules that ensure its proper functioning.

A reminder: it is strictly forbidden to use a metal pipe, whatever, as a ground carelessly.It is, alas, too often the case in older dwellings.

Components of a grounding

Make a trench between the house where you will do your installation earth. Bury the sheath TPC, where you have previously passed the earthing conductor.

The hole to install the earthing

Dig a hole the size of the cement box with a lid. Push the ground rod about 2 m deep .Leave a few inches beyond the pole, with the clamp. Connect the driver picketed by the clamp and wrap the sealant to protect it. Enclose everything in the cement box. Attach to the wall, 30 cm above the ground, the array of measurement, between the painting and general electrical installation earthing.

Connecting a grounding

Plug the end of the grounding conductor, leaving the sheath TPC at the bar of measurement. Take a length of ground wire (green and yellow), strip both ends. Then, connect one on the strip and the other on your electrical panel generally. If this wire through the wall, it must be protected by a sheath PWC.
