The green heating
Wood: a natural means of heatingThe wood burning stoves and mainly back up to date: having a large thermal inertia, they accumulate the heat and spread slowly. They come in many forms, from the traditional to more modern. There are also several types: classic stove, firewood stove performance, turbo stove, stove mass pellet stove. They can replace or accompany conventional heating methods.
The closed fireplaces and inserts warm air through vents at the base of the chimney.
The label "Green Flame" was created for stoves and fireplaces. It ensures that wood heaters are economical and environmentally friendly.
Solar heating
Based on solar energy, solar heating is a green that does not produce CO2. There are different types of solar heaters. The solar photovoltaic system is based on the production of electricity using photovoltaic panels that produce electricity and why not for resale. It is thus possible to power electric heaters with this system.
The solar panels do not produce electricity. They supply a heating system, using a coolant heated in the panels and circulating in the heating network. This system represents a smaller investment, but does not ensure the production of electricity in the house.
The natural air conditioning
The Canadian well (or wells Provencal)This inexpensive and efficient system is based on heat exchange. The pipe system consists of underground pipes that bring outside air into the interior of your home. Fresh air is brought into contact with soil temperature. It cools the summer (and also heats in the winter). This facility represents a modest investment: a few hundred dollars, depending on equipment chosen.Attention in areas where soils contain radon gas (dangerous), the pipes must be airtight.
