Wash the ceiling

Renovating a ceiling through a thorough cleaning using a detergent suitable (pine, soda ...), followed by patching of any holes and cracks. Before we get started, get organized so you can move at ease and dirty as possible.

Prepare the site

Apply the tape over and cover with a second layer carefully smoothed. Make overflow coating 4 to 5 cm on both sides of calico, to prevent it from being damaged by sanding.

Sand

Let the plaster dry all the time indicated. Small repairs can be sanded by hand using a wedge: start with sandpaper No. 120 and finish with 180.

To treat large areas, a sander is more appropriate. In this case, even if the machine is equipped with a dust bag, wear a mask and the goggles .
