Our tips for removing adhesive labels

On glass

Soak the label with alcohol or white vinegar. Leave for a few minutes, then rub the surface to be treated with a bit of dry cotton.

On plastic

The remains of stickers on the plastic can come off easily with cooking oil or white vinegar. Soak the label and let absorb . Then immerse the object under water. The sticker and begin to pull away. Repeat if necessary until no more traces of glue.

On tissue

The duct tape (duct tape) is a good way to remove a label from a tissue. Press it firmly onto the surface. Press and rub with your fingers to securely glue the ribbon. Then remove it with a snap.

On treated wood

The oil is very effective to remove stickers from a piece of wood. Apply it with a cotton until the liquid penetrates the adhesive. Finally, wash with soap and water.

On cardboard or paper

The board also has the solution! Wet the area of the label with alcohol or cooking oil without spread the liquid around. For this, use a cotton swab. Leave for a few minutes, then gently rub and wash.

On ceramic

Scrape off as much glue as possible with a spatula or a plastic phone card. Then wash the area with soap and water using a cloth or sponge.

If the label is stuck to the glue, the bottle soak in water for about ten minutes .

If it is a self-adhesive label, put your bottle 5 minutes at 200 ° C. Once peeled label, stick it right away on a sheet of paper, or sprinkle with talc: the glue has softened with heat, but it is still there.

Caution : Make sure not to let the bottle more than 5 minutes in the oven and use gloves to remove it.
